Looks like an older The Oscars picture. Maybe some other hollywood award event. I recognized quite a few and thought it would be fun to challenge others to see how many they recognize!

Loretta Swit, George Burns, Alfred Hitchcock, maybe Rob Reiner, Andy Griffith, maybe Robert Redford, Jim Nabors, Ava Gabor, maybe Ray Walston (he played my favorite Martian), maybe Gene Rayburn, Danny Thomas, maybe Orson Wells, Bill Murray, Don Knotts, Dick Van Dyke, maybe Tom Smothers, Mary Tyler Moore, Lassie (front row on the left), Lucille Ball, Buddy Ebsen, maybe Ron Howard, maybe Tony Bennett, Rosemary Clooney. And some one who looks a lot like my cousin. 🤣🤣

That is a great picture. 🥰

My biggest challenge is the size of the people in the photo.
Many familiar faces, some whose names I maybe never learned or some I no longer remember. In another 10 or 20 years, many of these people will no longer be recognized.
Dick van dyke, David ___, Red Skelton, Rob Reiner, Art Linkletter, Carol Burnett, Jim Nabors, Loretta Switt, Andy Griffith, David Byrne, Archie Bunker—, Klinger, Betty White, Mary Tyler Moore, Kathleen Turner

How 'bout this route:
MASH
The Odd Couple
Gilligan's Island
Green Acres
Carol Burnett Show
The A. Griffith Show
The C Burnett Show
I Love Lucy
Sanford and Son
The Jeffersons
Fantasy Island

Okay, enough of me scrolling up and down.

Wait a minute, I don't think all the Walton Family is in that photo. Where is John Boy?

As far as the photo goes, @Woody, I don't think these are Oscar winners. Oscars are for movies. These must be Emmy Award winners for television. At least, that's the way it was back when I watched my last award show sometime back in the 1980s.

I’m not sure why these people are all gathered for this photo. Some are from movies, some from tv, some singers and musicians.

None...sorry
I am serious btw
I don't really pay all that much attention to actors , would be able to recognize Dean Winchester ( Jensen so and so, don't even know his last name) or Brad Pitt but they're not in the photo
I would do better on rock stars

I would do better with country western stars from the 1950s to 1980s. I would do terrrible with the current CW stars.

I would say they all have something to do with TV. Who do you see that is just a movie actor, singer. or musician?
I’m not sure specifically but I think I see Tony Bennet. I don’t THINK he was on tv. But then again, I’m not sure the guy I’m seeing IS Tony Bennet.

I could probably get most of them if the photo was a little larger. Some are just too small. It does look like a picture you would see from the Oscars, but these a mostly TV people. Some did both, film and TV, but these are mostly TV actors.

Winds of Change, I don't think that is Orson Wells. I believe it is William Conrad. We would probably remember him from the TV series Cannon back in the 70's. Trivia: William Conrad was the original Matt Dillon when Gunsmoke was on the radio.

Oscars, Emmy’s… I do not know one from the other, only they are things actors like to win. IF someone was interested, I suppose they could look up a few actors ages to see if they meshed.

I never thought of it being a photoshop job. Goes to show how my mind works I guess. I just saw a picture with a wide variety of folks I recognized from my years of boob tube watching so thought others might enjoy it also.

I had a magnifying glass up to it.. Yes, even with it zoomed in! Like several folks here, I recognized the face, even might be able to name the show, but not the actors real name.

You are very likely right. I enlarged the photo to look at the faces with my fingers in my cell phone.

IMHO I agree, this is photoshopped. The ages just don't match. I believe the guy at the very top far left is Dick Van Dyke. Compare that picture to Roy Rogers, who is 14 years older than Dick Van Dyke. Again JMHO, but I think the guy next to Cicely Tyson (third row) is Arthur Godfrey who died in 1983. Isn't the guy on the very far right standing by himself a much older James Arness?

Somebody had fun putting this together. They are even standing on a stage/platform with the CBS logo, and I think if you checked almost all of these shows were on CBS.
