I recognize almost every face but don't know all their names. Was never enamored by tv people. Always had better things to do.

I'm with you. I rarely knew names or even recognized people because I rarely watched television. School, work, second job, sometimes third job, and then life, go in the way of me knowing Hollywood types. As a young child, I heard others rave about this singer or actor, and it never made sense to me.
