I've been concerned about doomsday scenarios for a long time but recently I've come to see how easily they could become reality. Naturally that led me to prepping but . . . I don't have any real survival knowledge or useful experience. So I guess I came here to learn from the best ;)

Warm Welcome from the Arizona valley folks. :USA: Compliments will get you everything. :D

Welcome. Just read through some of the older posts and there is a lot of good info here. I’m doing my best to ignore the rants on politics and religion, but overall there are really good people and topics here. Of course never be afraid to throw out any questions too.

Howdy from a fellow Texan .... and welcome to the forum and family...there's quite a few knowledgeable folks here that'll gladly tell ya what you need to know,or at least point ya in the right direction and/or give ya a good idea or 2..and by all means jump right on inwithany replies you have on a topic.

Thanks for the welcome, everyone. I've started reading some of the threads on here and I am already excited about learning so much.

Welcome to the forum.

I wait a bit, now, to welcome anyone.

Like all online forums, ours (I haven't been here long, not sure "ours" is appropriate, and I don't want to overstep) gets it's share of people who either won't be here long, or will make us want them to leave.

There is a ton of information here, and some skilled folks who are generous to share their knowledge, and this space, so whatever your politics or religion, make yourself at home.

Your profile picture is a picture of you. I like to imagine what the other members look like. I imagine Robinjopo as sort of a cross between Eva Gabor in Green Acres, and Ashley Judd in the movie "Bug".

Jontte? A towering, grim faced Scandinavian with greying black hair, an epic beard, and flinty eyes, wearing a bear fur coat and leaning on a giant axe, on top of a mountain of whale carcasses.

I don't imagine Psalm7. Period.

Greetings from South Texas on the Tex-Mex border.....sadly, home of the insidious clandestine cartel scum and many nervous Americans who fear the infiltration of our great nation.

Any way, welcome to the group. If ya need help or have questions, just shout out.

G'day from Down Under. I have many great memories from my years in Texas.
Yes, there is a lot of knowledge here, it's quite useful.
When I started out on this journey, I kept an open mind, and learnt as much as I could, then tried to put it into practice.
Am I there yet? Not even close, but after six years of preparing, i have learnt that every day is a lesson, and every day is a step closer to my goal.
Don't be afraid to ask either, don't ask, don't learn.
And don't be afraid to share your journey. It may not seem like much to you, but it is an inspiration for us, and we can all learn from each other, no matter how big or how small the lesson.
Prep well.

Just don't ruin it by being a Cowboys supporter!! LOL

Don't worry, I have multiple reasons for disliking the Cowboys ;)
