I feel that there is a general mood of anger rising towards hypocrite politicians, whose motto is “Do as I say, not as I do.” I’ve lost count of the number of news stories documenting elected officials flaunting their own edicts concerning the COVID pandemic, including my own Governor Gavin Nuisance.

We moved from NM a few months ago. During the March lockdown, the governor there made a ritzy jewelry store in Santa Fe open up for her so she could shop. She wanted to look good for her weekly talks. Hair places were shut down for so long that my husband looked like an old man hippy. Ha Ha. But not for that governor. She had her blondness redone regularly. And she continues to have a maid and a cook on staff. New Mexico is still shut down. I have two grown kids living there and two grandsons. No shenanigans like that where I live now. No shutdowns.

they are relaxing the rules over here for 5 days over Christmas so I am expecting a spike in infections in the New Year, I suppose they think it dosent matter as they can them inject them with the new "Frankenstein" vaccine.

Nice to “meet” you Amish Heart! Since Kansas is still controlled (Senate and House) by Republicans you won’t see the evil that is happening in Dem controlled States.

I loved living in Kansas. My Dad (USAF) was stationed at Ft. Leavenworth 3 years teaching air support tactics at the Army Command and Staff College. Very reasonable, common sense people in Kansas IMHO. Miss the occasional snow there. :)

I'm confused... "AmishHeart"... using computer technology? Doesn't fit with the horse & buggy image I have. But, fear not, we all (nearly all) enjoy our anominity here. I love the mindset to come up with that name.

Political hypocrisy is not new. Obamacare vs Congress's medical plan is just one of millions of examples.

My relatives are Amish and I live in an Amish community. I attend a Mennonite church when I go. I'm not Amish, but hang out with my relatives all the time, therefore the heart. Mom left the community and had me near San Francisco. But I came back here. There are some Amish who use technology, although it's limited. Beachy Amish in our area do. Old Order Amish don't have technology in their home, but do use it out of their home sometimes. Like when I order online supplies from Sam's Club for the Amish schoolhouse down the road, have it delivered to my house, then drop it off to my cousin's place.

I can guarantee you that Governor Nuisance will not follow his edict to stay-at-home this Christmas season. He will sneak out of Kalifornia on some ‘fact finding trip’ to Hawaii.

Jake Dima reports for the Washington Free Beacon:

Alexander Jerich turned himself in and is now facing criminal mischief, reckless driving, and evidence of prejudice, which makes the offenses felony, according to a probable cause affidavit obtained by the Washington Examiner. Law enforcement said the 20-year-old was seen in video footage on Monday skidding over the rainbow pavement and leaving black tire marks on his way to a “President Trump Birthday Rally” in the area.

Two days prior to the alleged crime, city officials unveiled the rainbow road, which cost local government upward of $16,000, following a ribbon-cutting ceremony, police said. The display consists of 11 colors, including black and brown, which symbolize people of color, in addition to light blue and pink, the colors that resonate with transgender people.
YET how many cases from 2020 "Peaceful Protest" from BLM and ANTIFA of rioting, burning, destruction of property and looting were either tossed out of lesser charges with no jail time? Yet this guy is now facing 10 years in prison? It's a road. . . yes his burnout was intentional, but felony charges?? Hell, after the toppling of statues and burning of the American flag last year AND actually PRAISED, I'm just not understanding why this should be considered anything different.

the lock downs here were partially lifted in May and were due to be totally lifted today but surprise surprise have now been put back 4 weeks to July 19th, the excuse is the Delta(Indian) variant which is rising in numbers in the North of the country.

Schumer should be arrested and in jail for inciting violence. Of course he won't be.
Will the Repubics have the backbone to investigate this idiot, after they take over in November? I doubt it.
At this point Republicans can only HOPE we can actually WIN in 2022. Right now the numbers look like we should. . . but we ALL KNOW HOW THAT GOES NOW! We all know how 2020 turned out and even though some of the election frauds have come to light, I am sure much of it hasn't. I read an article today with even New Jersey having fraudulent voters.

They want to say Trump incited violence. . He said We needed to walk down to the capital to peacefully protest. . . Compare that to what Schumer said. . . "You will pay the price. . . and you won't know what hit you!" It is a two sided justice system. We all know that too. Schumer said that he has protest at his house 3-4 times a week. I call BS on that one. We would have heard about it in our "woke media". They are all liars.
