It is okay to want your own happiness.
It's okay to care about yourself the most.
It's okay to do what's healthy for YOU.

When someone hits you, it's okay to hit back and
then ask them what the he*l they expected.
It's okay. You are not obligated to sit there and smile
and swallow every drop of poison that they give you.
You are more than furniture, you're more than window
dressing, you're not their shiny toy.

You're human, and you have the right to say, 'that was
sh*tty of you.' You have a right to say 'Let me feed
that back to you; tell me, how does it taste?' You
have a right to protest your own mistreatment and
set boundaries for respectful interactions.

The rest of the world doesn't realize you have this
right, and they will act offended and appalled when
you exercise it, but it is yours.

I think most people consider me to be a nice guy. That has come from a lifetime of suppressing my true nature to be an A hole.

And there you have it.

If you wish to play well with others and have a social life, you can't have your cake and eat it too in regards to being an A hole. ;)

I always have loved this song!! Just remember guys, when some are pushed far enough, they will lash out. Even the mild tempered.

Sometimes the control slips away. Most of the time part of me wants the control to slip but control remains.

I am reminded of one of my favorite quotes.

"Don't mistake my kindness for weakness. I am kind to everyone, but when someone is unkind to me, weak is not what what you're going to remember about me." -Al Capone

My dad told me a fair fight was when you walked away and the other guy didn't.
