When I retired the very first thing I did was to put my alarm clock in the garbage can.

WE HAD A POWER OUTAGE TODAY...

...and my PC, laptop, TV, DVD, iPad & surround sound music system were all shut down.
Then I discovered that my phone battery was flat and I couldn't charge it. To top it off it was raining outside. So I couldn't play golf and I couldn't fish. I went into the kitchen to make coffee and then I remembered that this also needs power. So does the microwave. So popcorn won't happen.

So I talked with my wife for a few hours. She seems like such a nice person.

I hate that. I have 2 hooks that go on a pole. One I use in the bed of my truck to reach stuff in the front and one I use to hang Christmas lights and bird feeders. I couldn't find the one for the lights so I ordered another one. I got it and as I was getting the pole to put it on I suddenly remembered where the lost one was. In my boat being used as a boat hook just like the package said.
I have 3 tubes of reel lube because I kept putting them in a safe place that I couldn't remember until I put the replacement in the exact same place.
