I worked in a TV shop in the mid/late 80s when those things were still sold. That's how I damaged my back. They seriously weighted a ton

DW worked with a guy who gave us our first T.V., right after we were married.
I told them newly weds do not need a T.V., but it came home anyways.

So sorry @Bacpacker, I do totally understand. In my younger years I abused my back, but will even admit ,into my 50's. 5 years ago, no problem I had to start to not man handling things anymore. I'm good with the 25ish lb block of Parm my store now sends instead of the almost 100lb. I hope you can get some comfort.
I was 29. Almost 63 now. Sometimes its not bad just not much flexibility. Other days I struggle to put my shoes on. Thankfully those days have been spread out a lot last 3 or 4 years
