Related to car seatbelt alarms, newer cars are becoming the worst. New Subaru's never stop dinging.
Many new vehicles interpret items sitting on seats (e.g. groceries) as an occupant and will give you the dings. If it's in the backseat, they may give you a warning to check your back seat when you shut the vehicle off.
They sell seatbelt extenders that just clip into the existing belts which then turns off the alarm. These are also handy for belt clasps that are too far recessed and some people have a hard time buckling in.

Here's a 2-pack for under $10.

i apologize for my typos that caused so much confusion. it was not serial killers but CEREAL killers. anyone ever polish off a box of capt crunch or apple jacks, or cocoa puffs, frosted flakes, chocolate frosted sugar bombs etc , etc qualifies. unfortunatly anyone can fall into that catagory. i understand tinnitus is an early warning sign.

beware friends! not all cereal killers are in horror movies! if you ever find youself in a vehicle where the seat belt warning ding ding ding is playing and its not cause of you then get out and save yourself! your cereal is in danger!
i know this is 100% true cause CNN told me.
Thank you @jazzy .

Now that you explained it, I am glad I didn't get it. ;)

AS I have posted in the past I take my nephew to work, so mornings he half a sleep & drags his @#$%^&& into the truck & for gets to buckle up. I let it go to see if he will hear the ding ding. My Toyota dings about four or five times then stops.

4 dings isn't bad. I think our new RAV-4 and our Mazda's ding for about 30 seconds. Subaru doesn't stop... ever.

That's a 2005. Try driving a 2024. ;) I rented a Forester last month. It never stopped dinging. Almost bought an Outback earlier this year. Between the chimes and really annoying touch screen, it lost out to the competition.
Wear your seatbelt, save your life.

I Agree but when You go shopping and get too much on any seat, go by a Junkyard with a Knife and get a end that fits...:lightbulb:
