A mechanic at Fremont Chevrolet in Fremont, California took a customer's Corvette out for a joy ride. While weaving in and out of traffic at over 100 miles per hour, a Dodge Charger passed him. The two then got into a race (the Dodge won). The customer found out about it by seeing the video that was automatically recorded by the performance data recorder...which also recorded the speed.
To make things right with the customer, Fremont Chevrolet gave the customer a brand new Corvette.
The real action begins around 9:25

I literally could spit, it would go down the hill and flood Fremont. And I never heard about this.
Another reason for a Tesla, you can set it for valet mode and they can’t go over 55.

And you think that a mechanic working for the dealership could not get around that?
He probably could. Couldnt get past the pass code, but then Tesla would have a record of of him bypassing it Through the computer system. The mobile service guy could get in my wife’s last week to fix a trim part without her having to unlock it.. When he was in there, you don’t think there is a computer record?
Its not like driving a car, it’s like driving a computer.
Honestly, I didn’t think GM was advanced enough to have a valet mode. My new RAM doesn’t.

Serves him right. We have very strict rules about customers cars where I work.
