If you do you can find all the information you'll need for any gardening in your area.
I just downloaded this years gardening calendar. It tells you when to start and plant seeds and plants. When to feed and harvest. Also when to prune your fruit trees and bushes.
Extension Services also have classes on food preservation methods and nutrition which are usually free.
Some also have a Master Gardeners classes ( we do here)
And they're tops for asking questions either by phone or email about any gardening questions.
You can also use their services for soil samples and how to maintain your wood lot.
Our Service has all kinds of information and I usually look at their site before I look elsewhere
