I probably shouldn't say this but this truly happened to me.

When I was about 40, my wife and I were at a Happy Hour one Friday evening.
I was filling a plate with snacks (can't spell horsedovers) for our table.

I was staring at something I did't recognize and asked the young lady next to me what it was.
She replied zucchini.

Without engaging my brain I said "I never eat anything that starts with a "Z".

She offered a hand shake and said "That's too bad, my name is Zelda."

I laugh but my degree was just as useless and it was actually something that should have been useful. Mine was useless because I wanted to be home with my babies, not bragging about being a boss babe on tiktok, though.

The guidance counselors hooked us in by telling us it would be difficult to return to college later in life. Lies! It's like the guidance counselors got kickbacks from colleges or something.
