That's going to be a big headache for Kobalt because it is Lowe's main line.Stanley Black & Decker bought the Craftsman brand and rights in 2017 for 900 million. To my knowledge they were breaking ground in Battle Creek, MI next to their other plant and were planning on returning it to Made in the USA.

Everybody that bought tools at Sears before they closed the stores, had little other choice if they couldn't wait for their tools to come in the mail.
Sears totally fumbled the ball to Amazon. They were selling and shipping everything thru the mail long before Bezos was even born.
If they had been able to make the transition to online, Jeff would still be selling paperback books today. (Yes, I still remember when Amazon only sold books)
