Oh, that's to bad. ;)

Article:

The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) and other banks were targeted on Wednesday as part of a significant cyber attack that led to widespread disruptions in the country's banking system, Iran International reported.

According to reports, all the computer systems of the banks in Iran were paralyzed following the cyber attack. Initial estimates indicated that this could be one of the largest-ever cyberattacks against Iranian state infrastructure.

A signal to Iran?

The cyber attack is most likely a signal from the Western countries to Iran, that is, conveying a message that demonstrates how Iran can be harmed.

The last cyber attack carried out against Iranian institutions took place last December when a significant part of the gas stations in the country were damaged as part of a cyber attack, which the Iranians attributed to Israel and the US.

Israeli media later reported that a paper had been stuck onto ATM machines in Iran, which read, "Dear customers, it is impossible to withdraw money from this ATM. This is because all of Iran's national budget and resources have been allocated to the wars and the corrupt religious leaders of the Islamic Republic regime. "We are very sorry."

According to Iran International later on Wednesday, data was stolen during the attack.

This is a developing story.

Iran and other sandy countries first reported it after customers went into a panic. So it seems legit.

The papers on the ATMs strikes me a dubious. It suggests the attack had an inside Iran component.

Tales of internet intrigue fascinated me!

I co- authored what may have been the first Internet Sniffer (think wire Shark) and was elated when we saw an email being typed by one of our managers. I was crying tears of pride when I learned about Stuxnet.

😍 😍 😍

Lol

Seems cyber attacks can be put to good use.

OMG! Jews got keyboards!!! 😍

I agree with @Neb , Stuxnet was both historic and epic!!!
White House Coordinator for Arms Control and Weapons of Mass Destruction, in which he said, "we're glad they [the Iranians] are having trouble with their centrifuge machine and that we — the U.S. and its allies — are doing everything we can to make sure that we complicate matters for them," offering "winking acknowledgement" of United States involvement in Stuxnet. ...The worm worked by first causing an infected Iranian IR-1 centrifuge to increase from its normal operating speed of 1,064 hertz to 1,410 hertz for 15 minutes before returning to its normal frequency. Twenty-seven days later, the worm went back into action, slowing the infected centrifuges down to a few hundred hertz for a full 50 minutes. The stresses from the excessive, then slower, speeds caused the aluminium centrifugal tubes to expand, often forcing parts of the centrifuges into sufficient contact with each other to destroy the machine.

Cyber attack on the centrifuges used for nuclear development
Well, it can not be confirmed or denied that Israel had any part in Stuxnet, but when the damaged centrifuges slowed down, they were all set on "hummus" 🤣.
Hummus is a common part of everyday meals in Israel. It is made from ingredients that, following Kashrut (Jewish dietary laws), can be combined with both meat and dairy meals. Chickpea dishes have long been part of the cuisine of Jews who lived in the Middle East and Northern Africa.
