That was interesting. But very little of what they showed I'd try, unless I was in survival/starvation mode. Which pretty much describes every day for a Medieval peasant.

Have you ever hung out in trailer trash Appalachia? People still ate that stuff when I was a kid.
We were considered upper middle class, and WE ate it.
Pottage stew normally started out as beef knuckles and beans, the next day it became chili, after that it was spaghetti sauce, anything after that ended up in the sloppy Joe mix or in the cabbage rolls.

I'm not judging food/people_that_eat_it. I'm just saying that some foods do not sound appealing to me. Caviar is one such food. That's certainly not associated with poor people. I had it once, and I remarked to my date that if I had to describe its texture and taste, I'd call it "A disassociated raspberry that smells like deceased fish and tastes like a bovine salt lick". Yeah, it was THAT good.

On the other hand, I like broccoli, Brussels sprouts, lima beans, and asparagus. Most people probably would have voted me "Weird kid of the year" for that one.

No harm, no foul bro, sorry if I came off like I had butt hurt.
Caviar isn't fit for pigs, I'm sorry. it just tastes like spoiled, salty fish to me.

I loved all that, but the Brussels sprouts and Asparagus, although I will eat Asparagus now. I still hate turnips unless they are cold pickled; then, I make a hog out of myself! LOL
