..... don't mix!! Took my 95 year old friends to lunch today! They both behaved, lol! One of them was heating up food last week and one of her hearing aids fell out, on to the plate. She didn't notice and it got microwaved!!

One of mine fell out and I drove over it with the car..
I was just in the hardware store and ran into a guy by himself who had been a customer of mine for years . He was buying parts to fix up a rental he has on his ranch...He said he was 95....Wow.

My uncle Melvin, the one that's turning 101 in a few days...lost his recently. So we have to yell at him.

We used to take my grandfather out to breakfast every saturday morning...He really didn't like wearing hearing aids but we had to yell so much it was uncomfortable in restaurants....many was the time we were all loaded up in the car heading out the driveway and we turned around and got his hearing aids.
Having a conversation with him was well worth the bother.
I wish he was around now so I could ask him about animal husbandry, butchering, barn raising, logging, being a county commissioner, poaching deer with a 22 magnum, raising a daughter with diabetes and being dirt poor in the depression,,,,,,he was a good man.
