Miles per gallon or smiles per mile?

OK, an insurance question since I see there's many members with performance vehicles.

If you pull up the details on your insurance policy, have you ever encountered this?
"Curb weight to horsepower ratio" and a nominal fee for it?

Our more powerful vehicles came with this fee. It's between $6-9 annually per vehicle.
 
I prefer smiles to miles but you can have both. My '64 Chevelle can get upwards of 26mpg on the highway. 292 straight 6 bored out to 302cid, horsepower cam, 4 barrel carb, hooked to a built Power Glide 2 speed auto, with highway geared rear axle. ( forget if it is 3.05 or 3.42).
It wont win a drag race but once it hits 20mph it will pull strong and pass on the freeway without a problem.
One of these years I will get her back on the road again.
