One thing I noticed that is not included in most med kits is a good battery powered light source. Of my own 5 med kits I had only 1 pen light and it was very dim. I have since upgraded a hands free headlight in my main home and mobile kits, small led lights with on/off switch so you dont have to hold the button for it to stay on, in the other kits. Being able to see in an emergeny, while trying to treat a medical situation is vital, when power is out. I suggest everyone add a headlight to there main kit for hands free operations! "I think thats your appendics? Cant really see" Lol

I did add two headlamps to my primary medical kit, added streamlights to my portable kits.
