Take these numbers with a "grain of salt" (maybe a "pound of salt" would be more accurate). Due to the shortage of test kits, the vast majority of people who contract the virus never get confirmed. The only ones who are showing up in these number are the ones who are serious, so the mortality rate will be excessively high. If we had the "real" number of people who got the virus and recovered, it would look much better. But, that time to get real numbers has long passed.
