Welcome and thanks for joining. The BOB has been covered all through the forum. I'm sure you can find a good bit of it in a search. Other than that, the skills on how to use it are invaluable. Perhaps more so than the gear itself. Once you know what it is you're trying to accomplish(Fire, shelter, etc) and the theory behind it, then you will start to see things differently and will be able to make due with a lot of what you find in the woods or around you in general. Learn as much as you can about shelter, fire, water, food, first aid, etc... Those things will have you in a much better position than having a bag of things with minimal knowledge. My $.02....
