New Here from Canada

I been watching doomsday preppers for the last couple days , i found it becuase of i live in vancouver canada about 4 hour drive north from seattle . we recently had a 7.0 earthquake http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/story/2012/10/27/bc-quake-reported.html and that kind of woke me up .....The pacific northwest is due for a 9.0 earthquake at anytime so i am interested in learning about prepping. Is this forum just for americans?

I too live in an earthquake prone area, southern california. Earthquakes are what I primarily prepping for.
