One thing I’ve been troubled by is what kind of bag to carry as an EDC. Anything sling bag style and tactical recommendations would be nice. Thanks in advance.

I’m using a 5.11 Tactical Moab 10, until I find something I like better. I keep quite a lot in there for edc.

military bags, especially camo bags stand out too much in a city, same with camo or military looking clothing, you want to blend in as much as possible, looking different makes you a target.

camo is everywhere around here in the countryside, its normal work clothing, but in a city it would stand out too much and draw attention.

IMHO Camo is for just when you are out hunting. It is not a fashion statement. My EDC bag is just a simple black backpack. Works just fine in the city or in the rural area's. Camo may not rise eyebrows in the countryside but it still catches the eye. If you are a hunter, then you will be checking out the pattern to see if it would do a good job of concealment. If you are a non-hunter - snowflake, then you will be wondering why a camo bag and does it have a gun in it. Just a basic bag will get the job done. Want to get fancy, drop in a ballistic plate.

Coyote tan or sandstone color is a good choice for Utah, I owned land around Kanab Utah, Utah is a good State outside the major cities. I do know, regardless of bag, the folks their have no trust of outsiders especially in smaller communities and for good reason, Kanab was a good example of that. I think regardless of color and pattern one would pass as long as they don't look homeless or like a California preppy child ;)
