Checking into what I would need to survive should the need arise! I want to start with food storage, but living in residential Houston I do not have a cellar or basement and the heat is an issue! So any suggestions would be appreciated!
Well I started with a bug out bag, figured out what works for me. i.e shelter, filters, cloths, fire kit, stuff like that. then i moved into food, water storage. I keep 30 days min. Just start somewhere, and we will help you out.@Colt...after seeing all the latest legislation and potential legislation I am starting to see the writing on the wall. I want to be prepared for what ever is about to come!

I am sure they would. I have always heard try to keep them at 72 degrees or lower.Do you know if the freeze dried foods decrease in shelf life if it gets over a certain temperature?
