NOTICE: I am going to try to not post much in this prepping section, going forward.

prepping is different for everyone, my prepping being a Brit will be different to someone in America, I am rural based so my prepping will not be the same as someone in a city, I am a long term type prepper where many Brit preppers only prepare for short term events.
I am also a " keep it simple" type prepper where many others make it technology heavy.

My passion for the subject of prepping and survival has for more than 70 years (71.7 years to be exact) has been very high. Maybe too high. Clearly my passion for the subject of prepping keeps getting me in trouble on internet forums.

Because of respect and caring about others. I have friends there in the prepping section. Many of us in that section have been helping each other for roughly 15 years. We care about each other and would be very rude to just walk away without an explanation.

I don't need attention. I need the two members of this forum who undercut the positive work in that section to stop doing that.

It is important to remember that the trolls are probably just a couple of sick old retirees, sitting in suburban houses, with too much time on their hands.

People like that are also prone to tell us all far too frequently what great investors they are......which is a dead give away.

The really smart money knows rule number one: "keep your mouth shut about your money".

In my experience, older homesteaders, farmers and survivalists, tend to have more stimulating retirement/lives.........participation in forums is for them, not a substitute for having a real life.

I can relate with Sourdough's line of thought as that is where my thoughts also go at times . However I encourage our members to hang in there for now . The reason being it appears the Iran / Muslim war seems to be about to bust open . The U.S. ships are in position to join the fray just as the U.S. did a few months back when Iran sent 300 missiles or drones to attack Israel . This situation seems near unstoppable and one of the targets will be satellites as they are used for military purposes . The point being the satellite needed for this forum to function may soon not exist . We may be in the last few days of this forum's existence . --- Talking the talk for preppers and survivalist may be about to close and time to walk the walk to begin . -- Members don't assume the war will remain over younder

Nothing personal, as you and I do not know each other, and I like poking humor at times, but maybe to see who replies with negative comments so they can be added to the ignore list.
