I've never had any problem with ordering online. First I make sure that I use the right deliver to address. I've ordered everything from cars to precious metals online.
Consider yourself lucky.
My last 2 Amazon orders:
Ordered - November 26, due finally today... Nope!
Ordered - December 3rd, due (hopefully) December 19th. :( (still hasn't shipped as of today)
Do some math and see how many days it takes for me to get something.

I never said that I always had fast shipping. For us "2 day" shipping is usually 5 to 15 days. Overnight is at least 3 days. But we always receive what we order, eventually. Some things that I order is on backorder. A couple weeks ago I ordered some ammo, expected ship date is sometime in May.
I seldom order anything that I can find locally, which for us is a 150 mile radius.

Since someone posted something here I'll post about my latest purchase from TEMU. I wanted a better (I have a cheap one) mat set for the back of my Highlander. I carry a wheelchair back there & wanted a bit more protection for the interior. I did a search for what I wanted & of course listed my car. I started to order it & my wife pointed out that it was the wrong year period for my highlander. I glanced down & saw the same set with the right years listed & ordered it. A couple of hours later I was checking emails & saw that I had ordered a set to fit an Explorer. DUH! I went back to TEMU & tried to cancel the order. The message I got was they would try to cancel it & if not I could just send it back. A few hours later I got the "it was cancelled" notice & refund to my account. I went back & ordered the correct thing.

One comment: TEMU does what all of those places do which is list items that contain 1 or more words that you searched for. I HATE THAT. A mat set for a Toyota & and a Ford are totally 100% not the same thing so they shouldn't be in the search. Everybody does it but I sure hate it.

At least Temu is good about returns. They've actually been better than Amazon in my experience. Sometimes they'll ship the wrong thing, or otherwise try to short you on an order but when you call them on it they own it. 😂

I ordered 4 more things from Temu the other day. I started out looking for a whiskey set at Kohl's on line. I saw one that I liked but it only had 2 glasses. It was $89. Then I thought about Temu & checked them out. I saw basically the same set with 4 glasses for $22 & showed it to my wife, she vetoed it. Too Fancy. So I found a basic set she liked for 12 bucks. I also ordered a Trump whiskey decanter for I think $22, a plant hanger for $16 & a shelf made to hold my battery powered tools & batteries for $16. Basically for what I paid for all of that I would have willingly paid for the Trump decanter. That decanter will probably be listed on Amazon if it hasn't been already & I bet it will be 80 dollars.

I can't believe it. I was catching up here to see if there were any new comments & saw the above that I typed. So I checked & sure enough the decanter is on Amazon & was marked down to $79 something.

I think that I saw Pearl make a bad comment about the P. O. . I more or less agree with her. Anytime something is shipped through our P.O. I always have to wonder about it. They (at least ours) keeps you updated until it gets within 50 miles. Then NOTHING. And that last 50 miles might take 3 days.

The most ..online.. shopping I have done is with Cabelas mostly using my credit card bonus money... I have done very little shopping with other stores and only a couple times with multiple small items from Amazon..

So needless to say I was VERY MIFFED to find out I was signed up for an automatic monthly charge ($16.xx) of some kind from Amazon that I did NOT KNOWINGLY OR DELIBERATELY ask for.. The credit card company refunded that, but I had to get a new credit card to stop the auto payment...

There are a number of small things I had planned to order from Amazon eventually, thinking it was a good experience until this issue came up.. No way in h&ll will I deal with Amazon now..

Did you somehow sign up for Amazon Prime, or some music or video service? I have never had an issue with Amazon before, at least not yet.

I totally closed my Amazon account awhile back. So far I haven't regretted that decision.

Biggest issue trying to get in brick and mortar and not finding what you want. Going to a couple stores looking after that
I would rather order, go pickup at my PO Type box and get what I want.

Going to brick and mortar and finding it locked up and then finding an employee to unlock for socks or underware………

Whole other story..

I used to be a walmart guy. I loved them because they saved me money. But I've started noticing that more & more I'm put off about them because of problems I've run into. Just yesterday I went there for a pair of wireless computer headphones. (I got tired of the dogs getting tangled in the wire & trying to rip my ears off). The cheapest set they had was 70 bucks. I'm old & if they were the best headphones in the world I doubt that I could hear the difference between them & a really cheap pair. I came home & started to go to their website & it hit me, I like Temu better. Maybe I wait a few days longer but it's cheaper & as good or better than I can get locally. Percentage wise I guess orders from Temu are about 50% normally good, 10% kind of a failure, 5% not as good as I expected & 35% way better than I even dreamed they would be. And the failures generally cost me almost nothing. Oh & the headphones, I bought 2 of the same one for a total price of 28 dollars with shipping. There was a huge amount of reviews on them (over 4,000) so I'm sure that I'll be very happy with them.
