There was another groundhog that called an early spring this morning. I guess I should have saved that to post here.
I think we'll get one more really cold spell then all spring. Until tornado season. Then approach to hell. Then hell for 3 months, etc. It's Texas so...

A lot of times we'll see our first rattlesnake before all of our snow is gone. If we get some warm days in spring the rattlers will come out and lay on a rock or on the road to warm up. Some times we'll find one sleeping on the bottom of our wood pile too, or under the hay.

DID YOU KNOW:
A .410 shotgun (or pistol shooting the same caliber) can take care of all these weather vermin?
Screw the groundhogs and snakes. Yea, maybe save Phil for posterity but the rest of them can go to hell.
Absolutely. I keep a .410 by the back door. Plus I just bought a single shot .410 to hang in the barn. It's not uncommon to find rattlers in our barn, garden, house and even in our vehicles.
