That’s my neighbourhood. It’s about a 45 minute drive to the big falls. We have a 500000 hectare Park and millions of hectares of wilderness around us. It is beautiful beyond belief.

We broke a record.It's -7 with a -20 windchill.I remember the blizzard of '77.We were out of school because of the snow then it got really cold and the energy crisis was going on.Schools stayed closed because they couldn't heat them but it didn't stop us kids from going sled riding.I do believe it took longer to dress than we actually spent playing but we had fun anyway.

Yeah the blizzard of 78 was a blast too,we were out of school for a month,went back to school for a few days and another storm and -60 windchills hit and we were out for a couple more weeks.

My above post might have been '78.I remember blizzards in '77 and '78.One of those it got real cold and the other blizzard were normal winter temps.That was a long time ago,memories are hazy.Anymore,I'm lucky to remember what I did this morning.
