Saw this on the way home today… the funny part… Car is registered in alabama but the owner is clearly not a native. Else they’d know how locals would read and pronounce this vanity plate... 🤣

From Thursday night, it finally stopped on Sunday morning (11:00 am). Just found out we had our butts handed to us; we received just over 4 feet 5 inches of snow. My driveway is plowed out by my trusty snow blower, but I can't even get to work; the roads on my street are not even plowed out yet.

We usually get that amount of show throughout the winter, not at once, lol.

How old is that pic @d_marsh ...?!?

I am guessing early 80's.
I'm going Late 60's - early 70's... See Her Tandy Made Leather(Homemade) Purse, Boys wearing belts and nice clean clothes, Beatles' Haircuts and esp Dr. Pepper Glass Bottles and the Blue Label didn't last very long...?!?

According to the AI, the Sugar Free version was produced from 1966 to 1987 then it became Diet Dr. Pepper. It also said 6 packs of foam wrapped soda bottles did not become wide-spread until the mid 70's through the mid 80's.

and you Believe AI...?!? Remember, it doesn't Think by itself, it relies on Input...

Need More AInput :

  • Hutchinson Bottle (1885-1911)
  • Straight-Sided Bottle (1911-1934)
  • Embossed Bottle (1920s-1954)
  • Labeled Bottle (1954-1971)
  • The Skinny straight bottle (1971-1980s)
  • Plastic Bottle (1970s-present)
  • Aluminum Can (1980s-present)
The introduction of the plastic bottle in the 1970s marked a significant shift in the beverage industry, and Dr Pepper was at the forefront of this revolution.

As Americans embraced an increasingly fast-paced and mobile lifestyle, the lightweight and unbreakable plastic bottle became the perfect companion for a generation on the go, from the car cup holders of newly liberated drivers to the backpacks of students and the coolers of outdoor enthusiasts.

The only difference between my AI and you doing google searches, is my AI searches every website, every search engine, every blog, every media source, every Dr. Pepper or Soda related fact in existence, and every other thing ever put on the internet in a fraction of a second and then provides me the data instantly. And I all I have to do is ask.

So far it has yet to be wrong.

A Classic Example of "Indoctrination"...!!! ;)

Back in sept I was bush hogging on a fence line. Brush flew back and almost took me out of the tractor seat. It also knocked the fire extinguisher from it’s mount which I didn’t notice. Seconds later I ran over it with the bush hog.

Funny, 10lb, half inch thick steel blades turning at 540rpm didn’t puncture the bottle. They did knock the valve off. I looked back and saw a big puff of white ‘smoke’. Here’s what’s left...
