If the SHTF right now how long would you be able to survive?
How long will your current food/water supply last?
Just some food for thought.....

I have about enough of the same. This is for 3 people
Water 10 days " have to filter after that, pools etc "
food 30 days " easy no problem "
gas for generator 2 days " which sucks, need to work on that "
I have a couple of back packing water filters and life straw, it would be nice to have something that could do some volume.I have about enough of the same.
However, I am going to need to get a filtration system of some sort for the water.
I too need more gas for the generator.
I agree! I need to make a trip to REI for some fact finding, then go order it from the internet, as REI is so damn expensive.I have a couple of back packing water filters and life straw, it would be nice to have something that could do some volume.
I like there return policy, I have used stuff for a few months then returned it with no problem. Gotta love that.I agree! I need to make a trip to REI for some fact finding, then go order it from the internet, as REI is so damn expensive.
I didn't know they had such a great return policy.I like there return policy, I have used stuff for a few months then returned it with no problem. Gotta love that.
I know I need to improve my food and water amount.food & water 3 days, although more is in the works.
i have 3 2.5 serving MRE's that i got from walmart, and the hydration bladder full, plus a few water bottles. i want enough to get where im goen, plus a few days extra so im allowed "hit n miss" with hunting, but if i can get to my destination w/o incedent, water should be everywhere, depending on what cotastrophie has happened, ie, nuclear fallout, one might not wanna drink the water lol.
The devil is in the details.
Every possibility has to be accounted for or you are prepping for failure.
Of this I am 100% sure, Every plan will work untill it fails, where it fails will be where there was no plan.
I now huh, the wife takes all my storage also. I agree with ya on the earthquake chaos, just doesn't happen.I am trying to prepare for anything that comes my way. However, earthquakes are a big priority.
I have already lived through some big ones, but thankfully most earthquakes only affect a specific are
and do not create mass chaos through out the state.
My biggest problem I have with my preppeing effort is a lack of storage space, no land to farm or keep dinner critters.
Hopefully I can get the wife to allow me to take over one of the garages. That would solve a load of problems!
I like having members that cause others to think and reevaluate their current plans.LOL who is this guy ?
North Ridge being the most recent. It didn't effect Orange County at all except backup some traffic issues due to the 405 freeway being jacked up from the quake.I now huh, the wife takes all my storage also. I agree with ya on the earthquake chaos, just doesn't happen.
I couldn't agree more!Is there something wrong with what I said?
The devil is in the details= the detail you miss is the one that stabs you in the back.
I couldn't agree more!
I know I have messed myself up by missing or overlooking that one small detail.
