$1776 an acre in the wilderness? (hard to add in the cabin without any utilities) Good luck with that one. Beautiful views there, but walking 150' in the cold to the outhouse, and hauling water from the spring (and how far is that)? I'd recommend running a line from the spring to the cabin and affixing a hand pump inside, at least, if you're going to sell. Add in an actual toilet and septic with drain field, and then you may have a shot at it, but even then, that's a lot for undeveloped acreage. The propane is a good idea, but a good-sized underground storage tank would be best, not sure what is the storage unit for it now. Also add good, but steep stairs or even a built-in ladder to the loft. I'm not one to criticize without offering honest suggestions, so hope you take it that way.

However, post may get closed as advertising. Speak to the admin first.

Another suggestion, add a propane generator, inverter, and wire to a few outlets while still working on the walls. Throw up some drywall, paint, and a faux stone siding. Add some hurricane lamps for decor and lighting too.

Hard to add in a cabin without utilities? What kind of prepper are you?!!!

We lived in a house (with utilities) within an hour's drive of the cabin so we spent a lot of time there. The whole goal of the cabin was to not be reliant on utilities! I hiked in frequently in the winter (about twice a month) and spent weekends up there (and yes, I walked to the outhouse). When it's 80 inside thanks to the woodstove the walk isn't that bad.

What I meant was, hard to add in the cabin into the property value, without it having utilities. Without utilities, it is basically no different (real estate wise) than a storage building.

Not that it was hard to add utilities.... ;) Just an opinion is all. It's a beautiful area.
