Mentor.... Find yourself a good mentor to go with a time or 2 to the bush to identify wild edibles... It has been too long ago now for me in this area.. I also would need a refresher to be able to ID things.. Check your local community for classes, field trips, county extension office, master gardeners and the like for resources..I am always afraid to pick wild things like that in case I pick the wrong thing and poison us...took me a few years to trust eating wineberries here LOL

A member of the garlic family which has leaves instead of tendrils akin to a leek, but with an intense flavor and scent. I'll have to break out a couple of recipes from when I was a kid.what's a ramp?
