🥰

Calamity is a two year old Bison Watusi Cross.
I got her as a young calf and have been working with her on and off since I have had her.

She is full of life and personality.
She is closest to me, but we brought Shayde in to help with the first few rides here.

To say it went well would be an understatement!
It was an absolute blast.
I am willing to bet we are the first ones to ever put together a first ride on a beefalo like this, maybe the first ones to ride one period.

There was a herd of Watusi near where I lived back east. There are a lot of ranches/farms in Texas with Watusi and Ankole-Watusi cattle. The ones we saw had very wide horn spread. The photos I'm seeing now, the horns are very large circumference, as well as taller, not wider.
Congratulations, @Ekatarina

That thing is teeny tiny from the pic. North of us there are huge buffalo but you don't ride them. They will toss you though.
