One of my favorite guitarist, Dickey Betts, legendary Allman Brothers Band, passed away. He and Duane Allman heavily influenced the way I play guitar.

So amazed at how Dickey’s son Duane, sounds just like him in speech, singing, and playing instruments. My siblings used to talk about Dickey more than Gregg and what a great musician he was. Sad times for the family.

One of my favs, too. Supposedly, get got significantly off his game and that parted company with the rest of the group. I'll sure miss the guy. RIP

I was raised a few miles from their home. Got to hear them fairly often. Visited with Greg, once. He was up in a tree about 3 in the morning out on the Island. The 70's!
