My mechanical ability is probably around the level of a five year old. I would try to find old metal cans that could be cleaned as thoroughly as possible. Food cans mostly. Maybe a soft piece of metal that could be formed into a bowl shape, like a hubcap.

5.) I would use cloth. I am guessing that would be the material most readily available. Take the sleeves off of an old coat and close one end. If wire was available, maybe chicken wire, that could be used for a frame.

That the great thing about knowledge, it goes with you, hunter-gathers had to make every thing.
I know where there is an old school bus with trees all around it, but make a good house, for a homeless family.

Hey Joel. Did you respond to your own questions? I really want to know the answers to 2 and 3. :dunno:
Sorry, I answered them, but will not post them for a few days, to give everyone a chance to answer or guess them.

What is your Favorite cheese? Mild cheddar, so many uses

What is a Sunshine train? My guess that it’s a horrible spin off to Soul Train or the terrible sequel to the song Live Train

Why does Director Clint Eastwood never shout ACTION? My guess is all those westerns he was in back in the day and something with horse whispering

If you had to make your own cook pots after SHTF, what material & technique would you use? My old helmet from my first deployment, if not, probably a clay pot

If you had to make a basket/bag to carry after the SHIF, what material & Technique would you us? Long coat backpack. Take a long trench coat, zip, fold and button, tie sleeves for over the shoulder

1) smoked Gouda then Swiss, but Brie & cream cheese for everyday.

2) Charles H. Morris were active in the Methodist Episcopal Church and at the camp meetings in Sebring and Mt. Vernon. She wrote hymns as she did her housework.
3)does not yell Action, because of skittish horses on set of Rawhide.
4) Stone, fire clay, Bamboo, sheet metal.
5)Gourd, leather, cloth, wood & Bamboo.

Whamo! 5 questions off the top of my head. Might be repeats, but you get what you get and you don't throw a fit. 😎

  1. What book or movie left a lasting impression on you?
  2. What do you think the purpose of life is?
  3. What is your favorite hobby?
  4. Who is the least intelligent person alive?
  5. Who is the most attractive actor/actress from your childhood or beyond?

1. When I was a kid, maybe 10-12 years old, I watched the movie Taps on television. Somehow it pulled me in and I really felt it. It stuck with me for a long time.

2. To live and be happy regardless of your circumstances.

3. Guns, all things guns. Guns, guns, guns! And shooting guns.

4. There are so many options, from the hostesses of the View to Rosie O'Donnell to Nancy Pelosi. But in the end I believe it is Karine Jean-Pierre. The living DEI hire who will go down in history as the single worst WH press secretary of all time.

5. I could make a list about 10 pages long, but in the end I would nominate Wonder Woman herself, Lynda Carter. She could wrap me in that gold lasso anytime.

1.) Double answer: Book - Gone With the Wind. I read it in High School. I think it is still the longest book I have ever read. Movie - Quartet A beautiful story of friendship and growing old.

2.) Work hard, play harder, and never intentionally hurt anyone.

3.) Currently, Golf

4.) Can I say the entire Democratic Party and all of their sycophants. Every time you hear one, and think they are the dumbest, a new candidate steps up.

5.) Diana Rigg. OMG!! She was gorgeous, brilliant, and knew Karate (at least for the time). I'm still in love with her.

Thanks for stepping up, D. Great questions for spur of the moment.
