Secord?

Ben
??

Way back in my grade school days I read/was taught, about three ships of pilgrims arriving here in the early days. The name of one of them is one on the tip of my tongue, and a ship with some folks I’m related to.

EDIT: https://namediscoveries.com/surnames/secord
Not that I’m aware of, but wouldn’t surprise me. I’ll be looking into it again soon.

Was it the Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria? I gotta go look now.

Those are the three ‘sister’ ships... Santa Maria.

I need to re-check though. That side of the family I don’t see often anymore.

EDIT: ‘that side’ of the family are the record keepers, after doing a lot of research. Ties to Abe Lincoln were even found. A new generation of the family is carrying the torch… cousin Pam I see once a year, if lucky.

Better keep checking, OldSchool. I doubt there were any pilgrims on the Nina, Pinta, or the Santa Maria.

I miss Rush. No one will ever replace him.
Me too and you're right. 75% of my job was driving and I always enjoyed listening to him.

He used to say that when people asked him why he was so popular, he would quote Shakespeare, "Brevity is the soul of wit" and that is VERY true! KEEP IT BRIEF AND TO THE POINT! When someone gabs, gabs, gabs, they lose people's interest.
