ive been giving Wild mans building some thought if it were me and I was contemplating even a temporary bug in at that location ,I would double the size to stop me going stir crazy. but that's just my two cents worth.

My original plan was a little over double the size. I started to make it “T” shaped but money was a problem, so I did what I could. Hopefully one day I’ll be able to build another one for living in and use this one just for storage, but till then I’m happy that God blessed me with this one.

Have any of you seen the concrete cloth buildings ,its some sort of cloth impregnated with concrete , you stretch it out inflate it then soak the whole thing and the concrete then hardens and you can cover it with earth or whatever you choose ,and its fireproof.

still keeping a open mind to shelter ideas...also does anyone have a good understanding of basic survival skills...recommended places to practice and things of that nature
Where are you? First I'd like to say that there are so many websites and schools that teach this. The reason I ask your location is that our fellow preppers are trying to organize a meet and this would be the perfect time for you to learn what they have to say. Check with Clydesdale. I'm afraid that I will miss this opportunity due to my finacial situtation but I'm hoping that they will share the experience.
I have learned some survial skills over the years, military etc. and I'm sure that I could keep eating and breathing if I were dropped into a forest somewhere but my family would require more. This is where the experts can help you better than I. Good luck.

The best practice you can get is by going hiking, camping get the basic's down. The motor home is not camping, LOL. The whole thing is if your gear doesn't work or you don't know how to use it , you are screwed. Have you or do you do any type of wilderness camping ?
This is good. Thank you for reminding me. You need to get out there and do it. Practice the skills you will need to survive because you will want to do everything automaticaly when the time comes. That's why I think that's it's great for Preppers to meet out in the environment-nature and share knowledge. If you can't do that go out on your own, rough it and deprive youself of luxuries. I will bet you anything that you will learn to love it. Learning how to go without a toilet, gathering wood to warm yourself, listening to the animals of the forest instead of piped music, and sitting around a campfire actually talking to one another. "How was your day?" You will get a positive feedback.
