SHTF Communication App

This morning I had an idea for two computer and phone applications that allows preppers communicate privately without anyone overhearing. The app idea I thought of I am calling HAM IM and CB IM. Both apps would allow preppers to send encrypted instant messages to each other via HAM or CB radios. The apps would be compatible with iPhones, androids, Mac computers, and PCs.

I would like your guys input on this idea.

iPhone has it already called Encrypt sms. I don't use droid it's too hackable.
