I did some research to try to find a really decent lightweight raincover to put in my "Get Home Bag". I ordered the Snugpak one size olive green patrol poncho through ebay. It cost me 32.97. I wish I had it with me yesterday when I went to an auction and was out in the rain. The jacket I had on ended up being just a windbreaker and I was totally wet underneath, misery misery misery! The poncho has plenty of room and the back is longer than the front which is allowed to cover a backpack, there is a map pocket in the front that has a flap over it. The sleeves are tight around the wrist and the hood is adjustable. I have not used it yet, live and learn, but it seems really well made and barring any stupidity on my part should last me a lifetime. I may get another one after I try this out just to make sure it is as good as I think it is.
