The up and down lines are stretch marks so don't let that throw you

This just happened . not an ongoing thing. I'm thinking a bite or sting. My friend who has the walk in clinic isnt in or I could show him. He has been vaccinated and also hasnt left the property for 65 days. He could have had contact.
Looks like a reaction to an insect bite. Benadryl should treat it.

any spiders in your region that are toxic??

how's his heart rate?
blood pressure?
is the skin warm/ dry?
cold/ wet?
how many times per minute does he breath?
does it sound like obstructive when he does it?
any allergies?

We have at least 2 poisonous spiders. His heart rate and BP are good. I can't do much testing because it makes him nervous and ups his vitals

I've had similar reactions that I never found the cause of. My best guess is contact dermatitis. IF IT WERE ME, I'd treat it topically with a mixture of Benadryl creme and Cortozone-10. But I am not a physician and can't diagnose or prescribe for others, especially just based on a picture.

A lot of clinics are doing telemedicine now BTW.

I once read about some type of rash you can get from a hot tub that isn't well cleaned. I don't remember whether it was from a bacteria or parasite or what. I think it was easily treatable whatever it was.
I would suggest doing a telemedicine appointment if they have it available for urgent care. If they need to see him in person then they will let you know.
The clinics here are actually pretty good, they direct all COVID traffic to certain locations and take extreme precautions, but I don't know how it is where you live.

ring worm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
but, I'm not a doctor. if it's bright red, itchy, and scaley then it might be a ringworm.
I had it once when I was a kid because I used to play with stray dogs. Turns out that was not a good idea.

Not ring worm. Ringworm has a ring of bumps. This came up suddenly.

Those are true rashes. He had one when he was allergic to chemicals. This isnt a rash it just a large area that is red and swollen.

I just rechecked and I think I see 2 puncture wounds like a spider. There was a small white dot now that looked like an infection. No fever or pain. I'll keep watch and call my friend at his walk in clinic tomorrow and see what to do. Probably antibiotics.

Yep that seems like a spider bite
