We have used old updated computers for years, living close to a state capital that has county, state and federal beaurocrats makes for pallet loads of older computers for sale for pennies. \

I have a box of 3 1/2 floppies....sorta corrupted somewhat...
When I took a tech class in1985 we learned how to replace the motherboards on commadore 64's.
