I have been to Florida a few times, but only to vacation. We enjoyed it, and did many of the tourist things; Disney World a couple of times; Sea World; Universal Studios. Went to the beaches on both coasts. Been there in the Summer and Fall. The heat does not bother me, and there are critters wherever you go. I didn't see anything unusual, and nothing threatening.
