Doobie Bros was one of my favorties. But I liked them much better before Tom Johnston left the band. Much more of a Guitar band instead of keyboards.
I watched a documentary on them a couple weeks ago that went from their first album all the way till current. Johnston and MacDonald both sang on takin it to the streets. Then Johnston left and after probably 20 years he came back and both sang again for another album. One thing I wasn't aware of, even in the years they weren't touring or putting out albums, they have been very consistant in doing charity concerts. It started off with childrens hospitals and grew into Vet charities, and many others. Even with all the line up changes over the years, they still stand as one of the best ever.
