One thing to consider is location and stored item needs. If some preps keep fine in the heat and without AC for example, can put them someplace like the garage/attic, etc., saving space indoors for food items, etc. that keep better with some climate control.

If you have an attic, even a small one, don't forget it as a place for storage.

I like the show tiny homes (or some name similar to that). Building the home is the easy part, convincing the owners to get rid of all the junk they have is the fun part. I plan to build a micro home/cabin before too long, but I'm building a storage area first!
