It opened for me. Thanks for sharing. Sweden is dangerously close to Russia, and the Russians have been annoying them for years. I would think after the annexation of Crimea and the invasion of Ukraine, the Swedes should be very concerned.

I just scanned it. Looks interesting. Can't imagine the US doing that. It's a shame the world is at this point, all due to a handful of despotic oligarchs who all deserve to be hung by their citizens.

Husband and I took a look and was slightly disappointed. I feel most of it is common sense, which I feel most northern Europeans have for some reason I thought it would be 'heavier'.
It has been intentionally "toned down".

For example, on page 24 their 3 step actions for Terror Attack are:

"Run, Hide, Tell".

This is the wimps version.....developed from the original version promoted by many agencies around the world.

The Original was:

"Run, Hide, Fight".

Here is the FBI version:

If the Swedes want to win a future war, then they are going to have to kill a whole bunch of the enemy.

Historically, terror attacks only get resolved, when you kill the terrorists.

They might as well get the population accustomed to that idea.

I see this Swedish document as half assed.......and I hate half assed things.

Being realistic, Sweden's neighbors in Finland and Poland are taking this much more seriously.

In 2024, defense spending by the US was 2.7% of GDP and by Sweden was 2.2% of GDP and by Finland was 2.4% of GDP............. while in Poland it was 4.7% of GDP.

If they really want to get ready for a war, Sweden will really need to change the public mindset.

They have not fought a war in more than two hundred years.

I think to be practical- war aside- all countries should provide something similar to the public. When we moved here, the council gave out a little booklet with emergency numbers including local doctors/ dentists etc. As strangers to the area it was really helpful.
I'd like to see it replicated, to include a bit more practical advice /contacts,for when the internet goes down in a storm etc.
