The other thing that doesn’t make sense... the rainbow bridge is only used by tourists and local traffic. The Peace bridge, 20miles away, is the 2nd busiest us/can border crossing. (busiest is detroit).
And if the peace bridge weren’t a tempting target the niagra power generation station is about 5 miles from the rainbow bridge. A major contributor to the ne power grid.

The Princess said there are often long lines at the Peace Bridge.
The eye witness reported the car was fish tailing and passing other cars before it went air born. Suggests the driver was hot dogging it.
The explosion in mid air it hard to explain if explosives weren't involved.

Every winter there is a round of people who freeze to death in farm fields out on the prairies. T shirts and shorts don't stack up against a Manitoba - 30/-40 plus wind chill. The sad part is, some of them drag their kids along.

I think the concert was supposed to have been the night before but it was canceled and instead they went to a casino the night before...allegedly, supposedly, msmedialy
Well I have lost a lot in a casino before... but never enough to drive like that

This is not uncommon in the Dakotas when there are blizzards. One blizzard more than a decade ago that killed 100,000 head of cattle, also claimed the lives of more than 10 people. In one instance, people were out driving and one guy didn't have shoes. Another instance, someone didn't have a coat.
I've known people who when there is a bad snowstorm or blizzard, HAVE to go somewhere, and ultimately, there is no real need to go, except in their personality. There is some need for some people to be out in it, no matter how life threatening weather can be in the winter, when the smartest thing to do is to stay home.
