Not sure how many folks have heard Blackberry Smoke before. They've been around 10+ years, but remind me of the 70's southern rock sound. They cover a lot of bands music from back then, plus a lot of their own stuff. I just ran across this cover on Marshall Tucker Bands "Take the Highway" IMO they did a very good job with it. I'll follow that up with one of their originals. I've had the opportunity to see them 3-4 times. Haven't been disappointed yet. First time was at the Tennessee Theater leading off for ZZ Top. Man what a concert.
