@Bacpacker @SeventiesWreckers @UrbanHunter and of course @Meerkat and @Mr.Meer you would probably like that song by Pearl Jam if you'd give it a chance.
I hated their music LONG TIME, but the song I posted up above called "Just Breathe," is nice.

Patch I really tried to like that song, but there is a reason why they never see the top 100 song list.
I do like some of the songs you like though. And maybe in better times like whe nthe world isn't falling apart I can stand it.
My kids and grandkids don't like most of my music either.
Some of the songs you put up I like alot .
Plus not sleeping much now a days.

From wikipedia:
"Just Breathe" is a song by the American rock band Pearl Jam. "Just Breathe" was released on October 31, 2009 as the second single from the band's ninth studio album, Backspacer (2009).[1] The single was released as a double A-side along with the song "Got Some". The song was triggered by a chord from "Tuolumne", an instrumental from Eddie Vedder's soundtrack for the 2007 film Into the Wild.[2] It peaked at number five on the Billboard Rock chart and number six on the Billboard Alternative chart, which makes it the band's highest-charting follow-up single since "Wishlist" in 1998.

On January 22, 2014, "Just Breathe" was certified platinum in digital sales by the RIAA.[3] It is the band's first platinum-certified song.

The song has been featured in several TV shows and movies, including Kodachrome, Castle, One Tree Hill, Brothers & Sisters, Life as We Know It, The Blacklist, Grey's Anatomy, The Night Shift and iZombie in addition to the documentaries Buck and Gleason.

I don't follow who is who on any top 100, top 50, top 10, but apparently this particular song made it big. I had never heard it until a little bit ago.

Amazing, like you I've never heard it before or it played and I changed channels, possible. I only listen to classic rock on radio though. Then too I was a teen in mid 60s onward when Pop DooWhop then classic rock came along.I may be closer to your mothers kind of music than yours ,don't know.

Aw, you'd be like my Aunt Meerkat.
:clapping:
My mom had younger bros. Her one bro was not too far in age from my oldest bro, like less than 10 years. Nah, you're more like my bro's age then. He's always been a rock n roll person. Just taste in music isn't the same. I was out of touch with music while I was raising my kids so Bacpacker saying grunge and post grunge, that was new terminology to me in the past two years. Eddie Vedder is near enough to my age. Still sounds like rock to me.

@MoBookworm1957 , have you ever paid attention to the lyrics in this song? I always smile when I watch this plusit has lyrics .
Patch hold your nose Tavia is back .

Yes, Meerkat,
I have listen to the lyrics to this song and many others too.
I don't need big house, lots of money.
Why you ask???
Because I'm rich in other ways instead of material things.
I have good health.
I have good friends, family.
I have grand daughters that will rock this world in the future.
So I may be poor, because I depend on others for a place to live.
Poor planning on my part.
I maybe poor because I don't have huge bank account.
Again poor planning on my part.
But I am rich in so many other ways.

I thought I had posted Carly singing that once so thought I'd post Michael's. I think she is the one who wrote the song. Yes, her voice is awesome.
A little George Harrison...

@Patch, I know it just played, but sometimes others just don
t sound right singing it. Yet some songs can be redone and sound even better, this is not one of them, imo.

A good example of this is the original singer who did this song was Elvis but Terry is the one who 2 years later put it on the top hits chart,Terry did a beeete job be it the music was better or the vocals.
