I thought it was supposed to wipe us out this very weekend, but i phoned my family in Australia and its tomorrow there and they are fine.
Ah apparently the Nibiru experts guaranteed us the world would end on Sept 23Rd 2017. but on Sept 24 they decided it was now going to be tomorrow 19 Nov 2017

Coors, Buddweiser certainly is.................... actually no I should not call Coors or Budd beer HOWEVER American spirits are far superior to Scotch, I love JD and Southern Comfort.
I’ll give you the buddy wiser being nasty, but coors isn’t too bad. I like blue moon and miller genuine draft. Only American beer I like is Bud Light and that's because it tastes just like water.

I know I’ve tried some but don’t remember the brands. Trying different beers was one of the better hobbies I’ve enjoyed in my lifetime! I do know that warm saki tastes like dogshite. You’ve got to be desperate to drink that stuff!
Does it really trigger it that quickly? Gout sucks. I had an attack many years ago that hurt so bad I told one of the five doctors I went to about it that if he couldn’t make it stop hurting to cut it off! I wasn’t kidding either. It hurt to look at it! Luckily that was my one and only experience with it. Sorry to hear you’ve had the pleasure too.

As the infamous Fred Sanford said, Beaujolais or “Booze Your lay”.
In time if the gout uric acid crystals damage the joints and cartilage in your limb the gout only ever subsides and is controlled with tablets, pain killers and rest. My right foot always irritates, so if I eat say Sea food or Strong red wine i can feel my foot start to swell within about 30 to 40 minutes. If I'm unlucky I have to take off my boot to relieve the pressure from that point on my foot wont go back into that boot often till the next day. Imagine someone firing 1000 nail guns into your foot for 24 hours, thats gout.
So yours will subside reasonably quickly if you behave? Mine lasted about three months. Really was a buggar to even walk. Like I said though, luckily, it was just the one time about 25 yrs ago. I have heard they have a pill to keep you from flare ups now, but read that it is only good for preventing it, not once you have an active bout. I do remember it hurt so bad I couldn’t let the bed sheet touch it.
Yeah the pill can only be taken to prevent gout by making your body expel the uric acid ( you pee more) you have to wait until the attack fully subsides before you can take it and that can take months as you say. My longest severe attack was one day short of 4 weeks. The skin on my foot on the ball and just behind the top of the toes split like an over ripe melon because of the swelling.

I'm not a sake guy either but I do like certain rice wines. It's not something I have every day though. I do like Japanese beer however. If you get a chance try Kirin Ichiban.

Processed meats like Ham, Sea food, Chocolate, etc Its either nitrates or nitrites in some foods that trigger a build up of uric acid that the bob=dy cannot shift fast enough that gathers in the bodies joints.

Yea. It takes years of strict training to ingest the amount of nitrates I do . But ...a pint of that cheap beer and I can piss TNT. It's all about the prepping.

That's some really good beer. I used to drink a lot of Baltika #9. I must have liked it but I don't remember much about it anymore.
I like how this thread went from discussing a mythical plant that's supposed to wipe out the Earth to talking about a much more important topic: beer. Maybe we'll transition from beer to cigars eventually.
I think someone should create a far out tasting beer and name it Nibiru....they produce a batch every 3600 hours in a limited supply and charge $20 a bottle, I think it woukd sell. No one take my idea. I now have proof I thought of this first.
