I'm convinced that somebody has spiked the water supply in West KY. with a big dose of dumbass..

Went to big town yesterday, and OMG , the world has gone t-totally nuts.

There was 2 , yes 2, serious wrecks on interstate 24 .
I24

I had people give me the finger for diving 75mph on the interstate.
I had people fighting over a parking spot , I was trying to get out of.
I had more than 1 idiot nearly run me down with their shopping cart ,and then give me that dirty look.
I had people blow their horn at us for not burning rubber as soon as the stop light turned green.

Was trying to get pricing Info on an item in WM, 3 different store employees told me they didnt know.

I can't EVEN tell ya how many people pulled out right in front of me , like I would stop. I did.

I tell ya I'm getting to the point where I don't want to leave my house.

Too many dumbasses out there.

Believe me it’s not just Kentucky, they put DA in all the water supplies nation wide.
I have been noticing that since Covid arrived her via China that people just plain have gotten rude , intolerant, stupid and just plain dumb. It’s like they expect you to bow down to them, I personally made the decision that I’m only a nice guy if it’s reciprocal, I’m tired of stupid people .

In my little town, it hasn't got worse except for the young kids. High school/college age kids are always stupid, but now they're getting ruder and stupider. And they can't take any kind of suggestion, like "Put that back when you're done with it". I don't know why they're so butthurt about everything, but it's getting old...

Stay away from Kommiefornia then. It has become a lawless state. Red lights seems to only be a recommendation anymore, someone shoots and kills a cop, and they are released from jail without having to post any bail, you get caught raping a child at 17 1/2 years of age, so they give you 2 years in a juvenile camp, you pay $900 a month for medical insurance to cover the 4 million illegals who get free medical treatment, a steak will cost a taxpayer $16 a pound, but if you jumped the border yesterday from Mexico, your food is free...... gawd, I could go on, and on, and on...

,,,,and then, after typing this, I've just discovered who the real dumbass is, I just have to look in a mirror!

Yeah , but,
I always thought that's way it's suppose to be in Mad Max Kommiefornia,
but , not in Podunk , backwoods, redneck West KY. It's spose to be jest redneck stuff here.

Bubba and good Ole Boys.

The wife said something this morning at indicates that the DA problem is a much bigger issue. She said where else in the world could a 2nd rate bar tender be elected to congress and be a major influencer of NATIONAL Policy. What next? Elect a senile moron to the presidency?

Last week? maybe almost 2 weeks now, I had to order some product from a vendor we don't use very often. Last time we ordered from them, the product came from TX. When I called to place the order, our rep was out and no one else could take the order so I asked the gal what time zone she was in (thinking I would call as soon as possible in the AM.) She didn't know. This threw me - how can you not know what time zone you are in? So I asked if she was in TX or a different state. I'm in Calif. Oh so you are on Pacific time same as us - "Oh." I still don't think she had a clue what a time zone was.

Too late

I went to town yesterday and was thinking the same thing. I used to go to town every day to work. Now I get there once in a while. No respect, No curtesy just outright rude. Even when I was a teen I was not rude like all people are these days. I walk with a cane now. Some people are still polite but, a lot are not. Some will hold a door for you or get out of your way if you are trying to get by, others just let the door close right in your face or won't move if they are standing in the middle of an aisle. And like someone else referred to teenagers being rude. Their general attitude while driving is "I am all important, Get out of my way"
I went to Lowes last week to get some colored RTV silicone because I had to change the drain in my sink. I couldn't find it anywhere so I went to the service desk and asked. The girl there looked at me with a vacant look. She then said "I think it's out side", at Lowes, outside. I turned and shook my head. I could hear her behind me. "I ain't helpin that Mothe*%#(er." "blah blah blah" I did find a guy to help and actually went clear across the store looking. (Appreciated as I am a gimp on a cane now and move slow).

covid brain is getting worse. ive read several times aobut tsome vaxed developing cognitive problems, anger issues, irrational behavior, brain freeze, black outs. gonna get worse before it gets any better and many people are just super stressed out and burned out. glad you made it home safe and sound.

That exact the thing I’m talking about, they drive like a bunch of fools without regard to anyone else one the road, cut in line in front of you. I had a DA crack head coughed right in my daughters face to force his was past her in the bread isle at Walmart after making some rude comment, me being the less tolerant guy I leaned over just far enough for the barrel of my ruger to poke its business end out, he grabbed his toothless crack momma and got away from us . We finished out shopping and went on our way.

Welcome to my world.........that kinda stuff happens on the daily here. Just throw in the homeless, panhandlers & tripping druggies. Any trip outside the house is like driving thru an obstacle course of chaos.
Almost like a war zone.
It's a national contaminant. I'm starting to look for rusty farm trucks, instead of a new vehicle. Go ahead, hit me, knock the rust loose :p
My 51' 1/2 ton Ford pickup was like that but it had a heavy rear bumper and a 1/4" diamond steel bed, if people were right up to my tailgate, I often said, go ahead and try and hit me, because you will end up in a world of hurt, this was my "Rat Rod", Lincoln powered truck that I still miss owning after all these years, usually all it would take to get out of others way was a little tap on the accelerator.

I got rear ended at a stoplight once in my 1991 Toyota 4x4 truck. It had a frame mounted trailer hitch. When I got hit, it had the ball mount in the receiver. The two girls in the Escort that hit me sure learned to watch the road. The ball mount took out the radiator and covers or something, and the hood, the fenders weren't straight anymore either. Oil, water and steam, and two girls that weren't supposed to be where they were. They actually did knock some rust loose from the bumper :)

I got rear ended in my 77 Tbird by a Corvette. I had a trailer hitch and ball in place. The Corvette went under the Tbird and got it's hood sliced from front to the windshield. I was pushed into the car in front of me so I had some damage to the grill and lights but in a couple of weeks I had my car back. :)

When we were on the ranch, if Pa had to go to town, he'd take a hay truck (just a flatbed or old pickup) and would put a shovel in one pocket and a pitchfork in another. He said folks would give him a pretty wide girth that way - thinking he didn't have insurance. That's probably a good idea to this day.

My brother was visiting from Reno, his mother in law lives in Los Angeles. Apparently they passed some law where they won’t prosecute anything less than $1000 (due to backlogs)
So everyone has to leave their windows rolled down and trunk open when they park to avoid getting their windows broken or their trunk busted into. Car vandalism and theft of radios, personal items etc .. is not prosecuted.
I can’t even imagine.

You just described our Presydent though he must have had covid for the last 20 years or so

After two days of road trips and NOTHING going right........ On the first trip Mapquest and Google were wrong, rude, reckless drivers, a convenience store with alot of people in it, and no one knew directions to a town was that was 15 minutes away. The next day my wife was going to a baby shower and no one was at the house she was told to go to. She had the right address, day and time. She went all over town looking, tried calling, no luck. She was extremely frustrated. We unplugged the house phone, turned off both cell phones and said "everyone just leave us alone." We even said people must be drinking something in the water, let's hope it's not in our well.
I suggested we buy a large rock and hide under it.

I'm reminded of some research on this very topic.
"They" have proven 1 out of 4 people are crazy. Think of three of your best friends and if they seem normal then you are the one that's crazy.
I sat around a campfire with three buddies and we had this same conversation, only to decide that we were all crazy. Thus said in the phrase, Birds of a Feather Flock Together. dancing chicken

Very true , it seems to me that most people under the age of 30 have real problems, no common sense. Most can’t even carry on a conversation in person because they are too distracted by their smart phone and social media controlling them.
I know a 25 year old who can text behind his back while having a conversation. Dangest thing I ever saw.
