Someone told us to go down to the corner where the churches is and turn left. We got down to the corner and there were no churches.
But there was a Church’s Chicken. Never heard of that.

It's next to the old shoe factory. You can't miss it; right beside the IGA.

The old shoe factory is now an electrical sub station and the IGA was a parking lot with no building. It was torn down. It took me four years to figure that one out.

I used to give directions based on a dog laying in the dirt road. I would tell people, I know you think I am messing with but the dog will be there. It was there every day for years until one day it wasn't.

That would work here. Everybody knows lumpy in the middle of the road and the whole area is over run with other dogs/packs that have their territory or dogs chained to houses.

Dogs and bridges will get you there better than GPS will.

Urban directions...

Go under the overpass, turn left at the first homeless camp, then drive on past the food bank, to the second burned out building, then hang another left at the house with all the dead cars on the lawn, pass the drug dealers on BMX bikes, and you're there.

It's good to be able to navigate both worlds.
