Its ALWAYS a good reason to create a crisis in order to introduce repressive laws like Curfews, Stop and searches, Checkpoints, Search without warrents, arrest without charge, suspension of democracy. Heck anyone looking at the UK can see that London etc is like a pressure cooker with its safety valve welded shut. Consider the localised rioting, looting and arson in Tottenham. now consider the same thing kicking off in ten or more London boroughs at once. in the Tottenham riots the police abandoned the community for 24 hours. Imagine the anarchy and chaos if lots of disaffected residents of London kicked off in ten plus boroughs in the warm summer nights?

I saw a story the other day where a Elderly Brit fought off 2 burglars and took a screwdriver away from one of them and stabbed Him with it . The stabbed Burglar died . At the time it said no charges filed . Today I saw the same story saying the Home Owner is under arrest for murder because He used more force than required to protect Himself .

Charges were very quickly dropped when ALL of the UK media exploded over it, even Lords and MPs said he should not have been arrested, The public was up in arms and its prompting calls to reopen the debate about self defence in the UK now considering the police are now nigh on 99% ineffective.

Ah Yes No Blade of grass or Death of grass was its other title, some years ago i managed to retrace the route the group took from London to the Lakes, I think the last few miles may have been fictitious cos I could not find anything like it after Kendal, it came out about the same time as DOOMWATCH and the original SURVIVORS it scared the crap out of British 1970s society

I read an article today saying that the police were basically bragging how they confiscated deadly weapons consisting of a couple screw drivers, pliers, needle nosed pliers and scissors that they found on the streets. Know what you mean, one of the regional forces showed its collections of "fire arms" it had seized, something like three air rifles, couple of BB guns, replicas and deactivated guns plus one tiny vest pistol that was rusted solid. The only way they could kill someone is if they died laughing at the police.

What are you Britt's doing to make your recent imigrant guests behave this way? Perhaps you just haven't been accommodating enough to their needs. Or maybe you're just not embracing or respecting their culture enough. Perhaps you should give up more of your freedoms, and of course more tax dollars, to really show your support. After all, they just want to be accepted in to your community.
